Dr. Marc Siegel has been working with local NGOs in Moldova and Ukraine since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. He has just returned from his 7th trip to the region, including being in Odesa, Ukraine during the recent barrage of missile strikes. Dr. Siegel works closely with the Jewish communities in Southern Ukraine and in Moldova to support humanitarian aid for displaced persons and refugees. Many Jews have chosen to remain in their home country, Ukraine, and are facing day-to-day challenges of the war. The tiny and poor Jewish community of Moldova has taken in more refugees than the entire Jewish community of the United States. Hear an update of the war which will have a profound effect on the American, Jewish, and world-wide communities for years to come.

Dr. Marc Siegel is President and CEO of M Siegel Associates LLC and Director of Global Security and Resilience Projects, Homeland Security Graduate Program at San Diego State University (SDSU). He is a lecturer in the California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) Masters of Business Administration (MBA) program teaching Governance, Compliance, and Risk Management in the Supply Chain Management track.  He conducts international consulting for risk-based management system implementation tailored to local culture and risk environments for organizations and supply chains.  He coordinates humanitarian aid for persons impacted by the Russian war on Ukraine.
