“The Future Started Yesterday and We’re Already Late” – John Legend

Hints of the future are all around us, if only we know where to look. Stan Schatt, professor and author with a proven record as a forecaster of future trends, will discuss what we can expect technologically, scientifically, humanistically and culturally in our rapidly changing world. Discover how humans may evolve and what paradigm shift could impact everything and change the way we view the universe.

Stan Schatt holds a degree in chemistry and advanced degrees in business and literature. He headed the Telecommunications Management department at DeVry Institute of Technology, taught at USC and the University of Houston, and served as a Fulbright Professor at Tokyo and Keio Universities. Three different universities have cited Schatt for outstanding teaching. He spent decades leading groups of industry analysts in forecasting future technology trends.

Stan is the author of over forty books including college textbooks in computer technology, data communications and telecommunications. In addition Stan has written mystery and science fiction novels and taught classes in science fiction. Currently, Stan teaches a course in Great Decisions for the San Dieguito chapter of the Brandeis National Committee.
