Rabbi Bohm invites you to take a deeper dive into some of our people’s defining stories: Moses, Esther, Purim and Passover. Can anything new be said about these personalities and holidays? Yes, plenty!! Come and learn: add your voice to the on-going conversation between Jews and our beloved texts.

Rabbi Lenore Bohm is a respected and popular teacher throughout San Diego’s Jewish community. She was the first woman to serve as rabbi at CBI following her ordination in 1982.  In subsequent years, she directed the Jewish Healing Center and Waters of Eden, and has contributed to the building and flourishing of many local Jewish organizations agencies and programs. She has done post-graduate study at Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership and Claremont Graduate School. She completed certificate programs in contemplative and spiritual leadership and spiritual direction through the Institute for Jewish Spirituality, the Shalem Institute and USD.   She recently returned from a year’s sabbatical in Israel.
