The five Megillot are some of the most interesting books of the Hebrew bible. Each one relates to a specific time of year.  As we explore these fascinating books together we will examine the literary and historical aspects of the texts. We will attempt to put ourselves in the minds of the rabbis who determined why these materials should be placed in our canon and stretch our imaginations to see their significance.
