Explore a fascinating system for learning many languages with professor bar-Lev. Each session will teach 4-5 “key-letters,” with “parallel words and classic verses in several languages.” In all, a dozen-plus languages will be covered: from Italian
and Latin to Russian, Sanskrit, Hebrew and Arabic. This is a “thinking person’s” language system, which allows you to create your own SOLE (Self-Organized Learning Experience) for any language. And it is not complex: its 23 letters that fall
into just 5 easy groups. In all, it’s as straightforward as “L is for Lift.”

Linguist and Professor Emeritus at San Diego State, Zev bar-Lev is most known for his “Sheltered Initiation Language Learning” method; including methods of teaching Hebrew and many other languages, and his books and publications. In his 35 years teaching at San Diego State University, Professor bar-Lev taught and published in all fields of linguistics. bar-Lev studied at Columbia University, Moscow State University, Cornell University and Indiana University; has given workshops in Taiwan, and taught and established the Linguistics Major at Ben-Gurion University
