Beth Israel is excited to welcome Julie Silver to our community on Friday, November 15th, 2019 in celebration of Shabbat San Diego. This joyus Erev Shabbat Service will be followed by a hearty enhanced oneg.

Julie Silver is one of the most beloved performers in the world of contemporary Jewish music today. She tours throughout the world and has been engaging audiences with her gorgeous compositions and liturgical settings, her lyrical guitar playing, her dynamic stage presence, and her megawatt smile for over 30 years.  In addition, Silver is a prolific painter, a mentor and teacher, a published author and an activist and still has time for daily naps! She lives in Southern California with her wife and their two daughters, Sarah and Katie.
