Mitzvah Mall 2016

On December 4, our 4th Grade class will be holding the annual Mitzvah Mall.
Mitzvah Mall is sponsored by the 4th Grade Religious School students to promote G’milut Chasadim (deeds of loving kindness) and Tzedakah (the Jewish practice of giving money to help those less fortunate.) It is a way that we can use our financial resources to create a more just and righteous world. The Mitzvah Mall Donation Certificates also provide a meaningful gift-giving alternative.

Mitzvah Mall is a “tzedakah fair” that promotes charitable giving in a simple, educational forum by allowing students to help collect small donations that add up for real impact!
– “Buy” donation certificates to any of the 10 different participating organizations.
– The certificates range from $1 to $9.
– Checks are payable to Beth Israel. Cash is also accepted.
– Beth Israel will distribute the funds to the appropriate agencies.
Religious School Parents
Your child, with their class, will have a designated time on December 4th to do their “shopping.”
– Please review the organizations and help your child complete a shopping list.
– Send a separate form and check for each child in an envelope.
