Brewery Tour & Beer Tasting Get-Together

Join the Men’s Club Board Members for a Sunday afternoon get-together at a local brewery. Meet other Beth Israel members and Men’s Club Board members and participate with us in a brewery tour and beer tasting event.  Founded in 1995, AleSmith Brewing Company is a San Diego based artisanal craft brewery that specializes in handcrafted ales inspired by the European classics.

WHEN: Sunday, July 24, 2016.   The 30 to 40-minute tour starts promptly at 4:00pm so we strongly recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the tour. Beer tasting to follow the tour. All are welcome. Bring your spouse, significant others, friends and neighbors. Men’s Club membership is not a requirement to attend.

WHERE: AleSmith Brewing Company, 9990 AleSmith Ct, San Diego 92126. AleSmith Ct. intersects Miramar Road at the Golf Course. Note:  AleSmith Court previously was named Empire Street, Free Parking

COST:  There is no charge for the tour. The beer sampling room is open until 6:00 pm. You can, if you wish, order a beer sampling “flight” of 4 different 4 ounce beers from (a total of) $8.00 to $9.00, depending on your choice of beers. There is no requirement to purchase or drink beer. However, if you do you must be 21 years old or older.

FOOD: There will be a Gwynn Food Truck available in the parking lot that you can purchase food from. You may also bring your own food if you wish.

SPECIAL EXHIBIT: There is also a Tony Gwynn Exhibit in the sampling room that has some of Tony’s baseball memorabilia. There is no charge for the exhibit.
