The Men’s Club is pleased to welcome Lou Israel Dunst, Holocaust survivor, as our guest speaker. Please join us to hear Lou share his experiences and tales of how he survived five concentration and labor camps and eluded certain death in the gas chambers of Auschwitz and Mathausen. Lou will give us extraordinary insight into what he and others endured and will discuss how he turned personal disaster into victory and determination as he spread the message of the importance of the state of Israel.

Lou, is a sought-after speaker who has addressed Jewish and non-Jewish audiences including middle school, high school and university students, Navy Seals, prisoners in jail and juvenile detention centers and superior court judges from every state. He has been praised by many, including former San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders and filmmaker Steven Spielberg. He was interviewed as part of Spielberg’s effort to record the personal stories of survivors and other witnesses. Lou is also the subject of a book titled: My Bargain with God; the Story of Holocaust Survivor, written by Ben Kamin, with an afterword by Alberto Hamui.
