Thursdays, December 9 and 16
Instructor: Janice P. Alper

The Book of Job is one of the most interesting and complex in the Hebrew Bible.  In our learning sessions together we will examine this unique book from its literary, historical and cultural aspects.  Particular attention in the first session will be on the nature of the dilemma regarding Job’s relationship with God and our own personal feelings.  In the second session we will look at the literary aspects in order to appreciate some of the greatest poetry that has ever been written. Come with an open mind and lots of questions and opinions!

Please RSVP on the form below at least one week in advance. For more information contact Program Director Bonnie Graff at bgraff@cbisd.org, or 858 900-2519.
