Join us on Saturday morning for a Young Family Prayers& Pancakes with Chanukah Artist in Residence: Jacob “Spike” Kraus! Songs, stories, and Shabbat joy… come one, come all!

12:00 pm – 2:00 pm: Kumsitz jam session/sing-a-long with Spike (Click HERE to RSVP)

Join Rabbi Gimbel and our Chanukah Artist in Residence: Jacob “Spike” Kraus and come and jam together on Shabbat. A fun gathering of folks to sing and play both Jewish and non-Jewish songs together. We will meet in the Foster Family Chapel.

 

Jacob serves as the Artist in Residence at Temple Israel of West Bloomfield. His music has been included in the cantorial curriculum of Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion, and is featured by Jewish Rock Radio & PJ Library. Originally from Boston Massachusetts, Jacob has been song-leading for over a decade at synagogues, day schools, and summer camps. Now he spends his summers touring Jewish summer camps across North America – performing, teaching, and just being generally “camp-ful”.
