Recovering Holocaust Art

Monday, October 16, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Recovering Holocaust Art: Eight decades after it was taken, some art lost in the Holocaust has been returned to its rightful owners. Much artwork has not been returned. This discussion will set forth problems locating the art, determining the validity of the claims, choosing the legal rules to apply, selecting an appropriate forum for decision-making, and the many hazards of litigation.

He joined the School of Law faculty in 1967.
