Youth Groups

Beth Israel's youth programs are designed to assist our youth and teens in developing lifelong friendships. Youth group participants create memories together as they enjoy everything from game nights to community service opportunities and beyond. Our youth groups offer opportunities for teens to emerge as young leaders, both in our BITY/BBYO youth group, but also in forming our Justice League board that plans community service opportunities for our 6th and 7th grade group.

Beth Israel has three youth groups:

Youth & Teen Music Program

Beth Israel offers opportunities for students of various ages and abilities to participate in creating music. Rabbi Cantor Jeremy Gimbel and Andy Mayer direct our youth music program, which includes Youth Choir, Teen Choir and Teen Band.

Youth & Teen Choir

Youth and teens from 2nd grade through high school help lead worship at Family Services as well as sing at concerts and special events. We rehearse every Sunday that Religious School is in session and serve a delicious lunch. Contact Rabbi Cantor Jeremy Gimbel at , or 858 535-1111, ext. 2518 for more information.
