Beth Israel Social Action invites you to help us prepare dinner for 35 women experiencing homelessness from Rachel's Women's Center. You can sign-up for one or more slots/dates below.
Please bring your prepared food in a disposable container to the lower parking area near the CBI guard station. If the gate is locked, park on the street in front of the gate and we will find you.
Sun. April 12, 2026, deliver to CBI at 4:15pm
Sun. June 14, 2026, deliver to CBI at 4:15pm
Sun. August 9, 2026, deliver to CBI at 4:15pm
One volunteer will collect all the prepared food in the BI parking lot, then deliver it to Rachel Women's Center. That's all there is to it!

You need not be a BI member to volunteer.
The food you supply should be enough for 28-32 hungry women, already prepared and ready to eat (not in cans, etc.). It's OK to provide packaged ready-to-eat salads, breads, toppings, desserts. There are no cooking or warming facilities at Rachel's Women's Center, so hot food should be hot when delivered to the CBI parking area.
Please do not go to Rachel Women's Center unless you have coordinated beforehand with Joan Harris, the CBI contact for RWC. Her contact information is below.
