The Speaker Forum is designed to bring to Beth Israel a person with some expertise on a topic of interest for all adult members. Participation is not limited to Beth Israel members.

This evening offers an early look at some of the exciting short films to be featured at the 6th annual Joyce Forum Jewish Short Film Festival scheduled for five screenings from October 12-14 at the Family Jewish Community Center.

Ronni Udoff, a Beth Israel member and Chair of the Film Selection Committee for the festival, will preview a number of film trailers along with brief commentary on the films and the selection process, which winnowed down 185 submissions to the 24 exceptional short films selected for screening over the 3-day festival. Of these, 18 are from Israeli film makers – many of them talented young professionals or graduate film school students.
