Yom HaShoah Ceremony
Sunday, May 5 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Please join us for our Yom Hashoah Service and Commemoration. Our Beth Israel community and friends will come together to remember and honor the millions of innocent lives lost during the Holocaust.
We are privileged to hear from Shoah survivor and Beth Israel congregant Bob Feier’s experience. It is of critical importance to listen to remaining survivors and bear witness – even more so as we still are processing the tragedy of October 7th.
Additionally, we will learn more about our recently acquired Holocaust Czech Survivor Scroll, which is on permanent loan to us from the Memorial Scrolls Trust. This precious artifact is a testament to the resilience and courage of those who survived the horrors of the Holocaust, and a reminder of the importance of never forgetting.
Our Zimriyah Adult, Youth/Teen Choirs will lift us their beautiful music, so please join us for this meaningful and poignant event as we come together to honor the memories of those who were lost, and to reaffirm our commitment to building a better world for future generations.
Please join us in Glickman-Galinson Sanctuary (YouTube) and the Kriah memorial in The Price Family Courtyard.
Please RSVP for planning purposes. Everyone is welcome to attend.
