Join members of the Jewish community and people of faith from across San Diego to walk together and rally for World Day of Migrants and Refugees: All Are Sacred on Sunday, September 27 at 2:00 pm at Balboa Park.
This interreligious gathering is an opportunity to come together to honor the dignity and sacredness of migrants and refugees and stand in solidarity with those who have fled war, persecution, and hardship. Together, we will affirm shared values of human dignity, compassion, justice, solidarity, and peace.
The gathering begins with opening reflections and prayer from religious leaders, followed by a 1.1-mile community procession at 2:30 pm. The afternoon will conclude with a call to action and closing prayer.
Please let us know if you plan to join us. We’ll be in touch with details about where the Jewish community will gather at the rally.
