Beth Israel’s Ukraine Support Center

The ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine has threatened the lives of thousands of civilians, including some 200,000 Jews. Our community is extremely concerned for their safety, protection, and well-being. Here are some ways you can help:

Jewish Federation:
An Emergency Fund has been established addressing emerging needs on the ground; to help provide shelter, food and other goods, medical services, emergency Aliyah support, and more to Jews in harm’s way. 100% of the donations are being forwarded through Jewish Federations of North America to overseas partners – The Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI), Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), and World-ORT.

The Afya Foundation is working in partnership with US-Ukraine-Foundation and others to support the Ukrainian medical community and refugees seeking aid. Afya’s Disaster Response Hub has been preparing wound care, surgical equipment, and biomedical equipment to be shipped.

IsraAID
Over 300,000 Ukrainians have crossed into Moldova. IsraAID, the largest humanitarian aid organization in Israel, is in Moldova, providing urgent aid & longer-term support.
