A Caring Community is the community we build. Our goal is to ensure that no Beth Israel member is alone in time of need. Our volunteers call and/or visit members who are ill, hospitalized, grieving, or in crisis.
Deepen your knowledge and strengthen your connection to Israel through programs and events sponsored by our congregation and our community partners in San Diego.
Connect with fellow congregants who share a common interest or a love for a certain activity! This is a fun and interactive way for congregants to get to know one another.
Beth Israel’s Men’s Club consists of adult temple members who identify as male. Join us in our work to strengthen and support our congregation and build community.
Music is an important part of the Beth Israel experience. We have many opportunities for congregants to connect through music, including choir and band.
The Beth Israel community is actively involved in the hands-on work required to make a positive impact in our world. Come be part of the process!
The Hunger Project is a cornerstone of Beth Israel's social action programming. Every Sunday, Hunger Project volunteers feed between 400 and 750 adults. By volunteering your time and energy, you can make a real difference in the lives of those who are struggling.
Tribe is a community for younger adults in their 20’s-40’s who Jew together. Tribe activities range from community building events to social action opportunities.
Beth Israel members who identify as female are invited to come together to share our lives, careers, values, and spiritual journeys, while working to enrich our community.
Beth Israel offers many ways for our youth to get involved with our temple and build their own community.
