Danielle and her family have been a part of the Beth Israel community since moving to San Diego from Manhattan in 2010. Looking to put down roots, she and her husband enrolled their son in the Bill & Sid Rubin Preschool and jumped in with both feet. They now have two boys and Dani has held leadership roles in the Preschool, Religious School, and the temple at large.
Though Dani grew up in Los Angeles, before returning to the west coast, she lived in Minnesota, Philly, DC, New York, Baltimore, Chapel Hill, and Oxford (UK). She graduated from Carleton College in Minnesota with a BA in Urban Studies and received her Masters in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania in 2000. She is an active volunteer in her community of Scripps Ranch teaching art, being on the board at her sons’ schools, and giving back through Jewish Family Services of San Diego.
