B’nai Mitzvah Boot Camp is a great program for all students celebrating their B’nai Mitzvah before December 31, 2022.

While this version of Boot Camp will look a little different than in years past, Boot Campers will STILL get a head start on key skills and meaningful topics for B’nai Mitzvah prep led by our clergy team and will be part of fun and engaging group activities based upon the Moving Traditions B’nai Mitzvah curriculum led by religious school staff.

There’s still time to register – click here!

We will offer three sessions of Boot Camp this summer – all onsite at Beth Israel.

Session 1: Monday, June 21 – Friday, June 25, 2021

Session 2: Monday, August 2  – Friday, August 6, 2021

Session 3: Monday, August 9 – Friday, August 13, 2021

Sessions will be capped at 15 boot campers per week (based upon current state and local health guidelines). A wait list will be available, and campers will be assigned to their session on a first-come, first-served basis.

On-site campers will exclusively use rooms/bathrooms/prayer space of the Beth Israel campus that are not being accessed by Camp Chaverim/Sababa.

All health guidelines required by Beth Israel will be expected of every camper.

HALF DAY: Monday through Thursday from 9:00am-12:00pm;  Friday 9:00am-1:30pm

FULL DAY: Monday through Thursday from 9:00am-4:00pm;  Friday 9:00am- 1:30pm

Half Day campers will stay onsite Monday through Thursday until noon for Boot Camp programming, then will have the opportunity to do DIY-service and advocacy assignments on their own time from home.

Full Day campers will stay onsite for (bring your own) lunch and then go off-campus Monday through Thursday to do community service projects with local non-profit organizations. All projects will be at outdoor/COVID-guideline compliant sites.
