Women’s Weekend

Join us for our 15th Annual Women’s Weekend! It’s all about YOU—connecting with yourself, with other women, and with nature. Join us to feel enriched, powerful, and alive.
Our weekend will offer opportunities for self-reflection as well as opportunities to connect with other women. This year has brought unprecedented circumstances creating unique challenges and stress to us all. The perfect antidote is a special weekend that allows you to feel refreshed in body, mind and soul.
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required for all in-person events.
WEEKEND SCHEDULE
Friday, October 22nd
5:00pm – Welcoming Shabbat (Virtual)
Join together with women near and far as we set the intention for Women’s Weekend 2021 before joining in song, kindling the lights of Shabbat, reciting Kiddush and saying HaMotzi.
Packing List: White shirt, Candles + Matches, Kiddush Cup + Wine/Grape Juice, Challah
5:30pm – Pre-Shabbat Schmooze (Virtual)
Hosted by Women’s Weekend Coordinator, Diana Lerner
Share some l’chaims while reconnecting with old friends and meeting some new ones in this informal setting.
Saturday, October 23rd
10:30am – Shabbat Morning T’filah Experience (In-Person)
Led by Rachel Selk
Location in San Diego TBD
This service incorporates elements of meditation, poetry, song, movement and aromatherapy, together with traditional elements of Shabbat morning prayer. Stay after and join other participants for lunch in the park. Stay after and join other participants for lunch in the park.

7:30pm – Havdalah & S’mores (In-Person)
Led by Rachel Shyloski, Beth Caplan and Songleader
