Women of Beth Israel is excited to be offering our Rosh Chodesh Series, under the guidance of Rabbi Ackerman Hirsch. We are delighted to welcome Rabbi Ackerman-Hirsch to lead our April program.
Rosh Chodesh marks the beginning of each month as determined by the appearance of the new moon. While it is observed by all Jews, it holds particular significance for women and is traditionally celebrated as a women’s holiday—a custom rooted in the Talmud. Rosh Chodesh is a time for women to join together in study and sisterhood.
Each month we will discuss a different topic. Snacks and beverages will be provided. Cost - $18 per session. Payments will not be accepted at the door to maximize our time together. Fees are non-refundable.
Please note that you must RSVP by April 19. If you have already registered and paid for all or certain sessions, re-registration is not required.
This series is open to all who identify as female.
