Women of Beth Israel is excited to be offering our Rosh Chodesh series under the guidance of Rabbi Elana Ackerman Hirsch.
Rosh Chodesh marks the beginning of each month as determined by the appearance of the new moon. While it is observed by all Jews, it holds particular significance for women and is traditionally celebrated as a women’s holiday—a custom rooted in the Talmud. Rosh Chodesh is a time for women to join together in study and sisterhood.
Each month we will discuss a different topic. Snacks and beverages will be provided. Cost – $18 per session. Payments will not be accepted at the door to maximize our time together, and fees are non-refundable.
Please note that you must RSVP by February 5. This series is open to all who identify as female.
Upcoming dates:
March 18, 2027, April 8, 2027, and May 13, 2027
