TRIBE Storytelling Shabbat Potluck

Friday, April 6, 2018 @ 6:15 pm - 9:00 pm

Free

We all have a story to share, so let’s come together this Passover season and celebrate the (not) lost art of storytelling!

The process and ritual of storytelling (think: The story told during a Seder) is a fundamental function of community. We use a book called the Haggadah, which means, literally, “the telling.”

Bring a vegetarian potluck, passover-friendly, item to dish out, along with a personal short story about FREEDOM to share with your fellow TRIBEsters. Feel free to write it in advance, think of one off the top of your head, or just skip your turn altogether. No pressure.

Event takes place in the Foster Family Chapel. If you are visiting us for the first time, Beth Israel is located in San Diego’s Golden Triangle at: 9001 Towne Centre Drive, San Diego, CA 92122. For directions, please visit https://cbisd.org/directions-parking/

TRIBE is for wild ones in their 20’s-40’s who Jew together.
