Thanksgiving Eve Interfaith Service
Wednesday, November 23, 2016 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
This year marks the 36th year we have a shared interfaith service on Thanksgiving Eve with First United Methodist Church. The service will be held at the Beth Israel this year. Reverend Craig S. Brown, Senior Pastor will speak and our combined choirs will sing. A reception will follow the service.
Together with the First United Methodist Church, we will collect food at the Thanksgiving Eve worship to benefit Mama’s Kitchen, a support organization for those living with HIV/AIDS. Mama’s Pantry, a program of Mama’s Kitchen, provides a nutritional shopping opportunity at no cost for men, women and children of San Diego County affected by HUV/AIDS.
We will be collecting food all month of November, prior to the Thanksgiving Eve worship event. There will be 2 bins on the Beth Israel campus starting November 3rd. You can help by purchasing one or more items from our wish list and dropping it in one of the bins.
