Provide Dinner to the Residents of Rachel’s Women’s Center
Friday, March 27 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Beth Israel is one of many organizations that brings and serves dinner to 25 – 30 women at Rachel’s House. Beth Israel members and their family/friends have been involved with this project for over 20 years. Our goal is to ensure there are enough human resources on the second Sunday of every other month (and also Christmas night) to nourish the current residents of the day center and shelter, so we coordinate and count on magnanimous volunteers like you to help us achieve that goal.
Usually we ask volunteers to cook and serve at the Women’s Center. However, in this unprecedented time, we are welcoming volunteers who will cook and drop off food for the women. Our Beth Israel coordinators (Valerie and/or Judy) will collect the donated food on April 12 at 4:15 pm at the Beth Israel curb (9001 Towne Centre Drive), then drive it to the dinner site and drop off. NO SERVING AT THIS TIME! Thank you for reaching out in this trying time.”
