This August, join Reform Jewish rabbis, cantors, adults, and teens from congregations across the state as we gather in Sacramento to lobby for a better California. We’ll urge our legislators to make the Golden State reflect our Jewish values of justice, compassion, and wholeness. The event takes place on Tuesday, August 20 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the State Capitol. This is RAC-CA’s most powerful and transformative event of the year. We’ll teach you how to lobby and then break into small groups to meet with lawmakers from your districts. We’ll also meet together with one of California’s top political leaders – watch for a blockbuster announcement of this year’s speaker, coming soon!

Lobby Day will take place in Sacramento on Tuesday August 20 from 9:30 to 3:30, in the Capitol building.

Always a moving and powerful day, we will engage in lobby training, meet with our state legislators, and hear from key California leaders. Past meetings have included then Governor Jerry Brown, Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon and then-Senate President Pro Tem Kevin de León.
