Poverty Simulation: Understanding Through Experience

Sunday, January 22, 2023 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Free

The purpose of this simulation is to give participants a small taste of what life is like on an extremely limited income. During the simulation, participants will join the millions of U.S. citizens who live, for one reason or another, with incomes below the poverty line. They will be facing some of the many challenges that real low-income families face.

This is an active event designed to give participants a first-hand glimpse of navigating the systems needed to survive and escape poverty.

This experience is designed for participants ages 16+. Space is limited, sign up today!

Please consider bringing an item from this LIST (Click HERE) to benefit those in need.

This meaningful experiential program is co-sponsored by Alliance for Regional Solutions, Beth Israel, Hebrew Free Loan, Interfaith Community Services, Jewish Family Service of San Diego, and Jewish Federation of San Diego County, Kindness Initiative.
