Join the Men’s Club for a BYO group picnic and visit to the Deer Park Auto Museum and Winery. This unique and charming local attraction is in Escondido, just off the I-15 about 1 hour northeast of Beth Israel.
Bring your spouse, partner, family and friends – all are welcome!
We will meet at Deer Park between 12:00 pm and 12:30 pm for a BYO picnic in the shaded garden (or under the covered porch in case of rain). You can bring outside food and non-alcoholic drinks. Limited snacks and deli offerings are sold on site, as well as wine-tasting by the glass or flight.
After lunch we can tour the remarkable collection of 100+ vintage convertibles and Americana antiques and artifacts. The tour is self-guided with well-designed signage.
Museum general admission is $14, or $12 for military and adults over 60. Free for children 9 and under. The museum may be of more interest to older children (although there is an impressive “Barbie” collection). Please RSVP by Wednesday, April 23 so we can advise the museum of our group size.
