Nature Journaling at Los Peñasquitos Canyon Preserve (west approach)

Meet at 9:15 am at the parking lot/trailhead of Los Peñasquitos Canyon (west approach) located at 4733 Sorrento Valley Blvd, San Diego, CA 92121. This is a 10 minute drive from Beth Israel. This will be a slow-paced walk making plant and animal observations, journaling/drawing, and getting to know one another on a well-maintained trail. The elevation gain/loss is about 200 feet. We will stay together as a group. Space will be limited to 15 people. Please bring a hat, water, sunscreen, comfortable walking shoes, a writing utensil (pen or pencil, colored pencils), and a notebook or pad of paper (lined or blank paper will work).
