Men’s Club Speaker Forum: Preserving Holocaust History Through Research

The Museum’s National Institute for Holocaust Documentation is responsible for building, preserving, and making accessible America’s Collection of Record, one of the world’s foremost collections of materials and documentation on the Holocaust. They will offer participants the opportunity to make appointments after the program.
SPEAKERS:
Diane Afoumado, Ph.D, Chief of the Holocaust Survivors and Victims Resource Center at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. Formerly Assistant Professor of Contemporary History at the University of Paris 10-Nanterre and the Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales (INALCO) in Paris, she worked for the two French Commissions related to compensation to Jewish victims. She also worked as a Historian for the Archival Division of the Centre de Documentation Juive Contemporaine – Mémorial de la Shoah.

This program is open to the entire San Diego community, both men and women. Temple or Men’s Club Membership is not a requirement to participate.
