We invite you to join us for our March Speaker Forum. This month, we welcome Dan Schwimmer with an update on Israel and the Middle East. Dan will give a general overview of issues related to Israel and events in the middle east, with a focus on issues that don’t make the front page. His goal is always to have attendees walk away having learned things that they didn’t know before his talk.

Dan has been actively involved with AIPAC, which lobbies to support the American-Israel relationship, for over 30 years. His AIPAC roles have included being a key contact for one of San Diego’s members of Congress, a member of the National Council and past Chairperson of the San Diego Chapter AIPAC Council.  Until Covid, he regularly attended the annual AIPAC National Conference in Washington DC. He has also been participated in various capacities with local chapters of UJF and JNF. One of Dan’s majors in college was History, with a particular focus on the Holocaust. He is a self-professed “news hound”, with a special emphasis on Middle East affairs.

This program is open to the entire San Diego community, both men and women. Temple or Men’s Club Membership is not a requirement to participate.
