Men’s Club Dinner Forum March 2017

Understanding Benefits available for Veterans, Dependents & Survivor’s”

Beth Israel’s Men’s Club is pleased to announce that Robert Lewis, a National Veterans Affairs Officer, will be our guest speaker at our March 15, 2017 Dinner Forum. Robert’s presentation; “Understanding Benefits available for Veterans, Dependents & Survivor’s”, should be of significant interest to all attendees. If you have not personally served in the military, attending this event is also an opportunity to learn about significant available support that can be passed on to friends and relatives who are eligible.

Robert is the President of San Diego Chapter 12, Montford Point Marine Association and also is a member of the Jewish War Veterans of U.S.A. Greater San Diego POST 185. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry and a Degree in Nursing from Norfolk State University.

Robert entered the United Stated Marine Corps in 1965 and served as a 2nd Marine Division Bandsman. he also served in Vietnam during 1968. Robert Retired from the Veterans Administration (VA) Healthcare System in 2012 after 29 plus years, where he served as a Registered Nurse.  Working in the Patient Education Department at the VA in La Jolla, California, he also served as an Educator, Veterans Advocate and assisted veterans with Disability Claims.

This program is open to the entire San Diego community, both men and women. Temple or Men’s Club membership or past military service is not a requirement to attend. A buffet dinner will be served. The dinner fee is $15.00 with an RSVP and $18.00 without an RSVP. You can RSVP below.
