Volunteer to help at the local migrant shelter with sorting donations, cleaning, preparing and serving meals, etc. We need Spanish-speaking volunteers to escort families to the bus station or airport. All volunteers must apply. Please contact Carole Yellen at caroley@jfssd.org or 858-637-3395 to obtain the link to the New Volunteer Intake form.

Provide Meals at the local migrant shelter. Groups are needed to prepare and serve meals for up to 150 people. Food needs to be brought to the shelter fully cooked (limited kitchen facilities) with volunteers prepared to serve.
