Rabbi Person will speak with Rabbi Nevarez on the evolution of CCAR and Reform Judaism at 7:00 p.m. on January 5, 2022.

Rabbi Hara Person is the first woman to head one of the Reform Movement’s three major leadership organizations. She is a visionary who began her tenure as CCAR Chief Executive in the summer of 2019. Since that time, she has prioritized the cause of gender equity within the Reform Movement, increased the rabbinic voice on social justice issues, and is working to revamp many of the CCAR’s systems to meet the changing needs of the Jewish community.
