Join us for an engaging afternoon of stimulating discussion, camaraderie and delectable desserts! We will view a brief TED Talk exploring happiness at the Encore stage of life. Rabbi Bohm will then discuss how the Jewish concept of happiness differs from the image American culture promotes. In Judaism, the appreciation of simcha – joy shared – is more rewarding and substantial than happiness. As Baby Boomers and (slightly) Beyond, where do we find ourselves on the happiness scale?
