At Coastal Roots Farm’s first-ever Eco-Jewish Play Fest, 7 nationally recognized local playwrights, 7 directors, and 20+ local actors will have just 24 hours to create and perform brand new plays inspired by Eco-Jewish themes. Plays will explore such things as joy in nature, food justice, Jewish farmers, whimsy, eco-sorrow, and how stories can transform us. On Sunday evening, all plays will be performed on the Farm, as we come together to celebrate creativity, community, and quick-made art. Following the performance, as the sun sets, artists and audience will mingle at our afterparty on the Farm. This exciting event is being co-produced by JFEST, The Lipinksy Family San Diego Jewish Arts Festival.
