“Green Book”

Tony, an Italian-American bouncer from the Bronx, is hired to drive Don Shirley, a sophisticated and world-class black pianist, on a concert tour through the Deep South in the early 1960s. Confronted with racism and danger as well as humanity and humor, they struggle to set aside personal differences in order to survive and thrive on the journey of a lifetime.   And—it’s a true story.

Many critics and fans feel that Viggo Mortenson and his co-star Ali will be nominated for an Academy Award.
