On June 5th, 2018, California is holding a Statewide Direct Primary Election. If you have ever turned on the TV within a couple of weeks of an election, you’ve probably seen all of the commercials for propositions that will be on the ballot. Don’t lose focus on the dozens of candidates. Come learn about those propositions and whose supporting/paying for the “lovely” adds. The session, led by Jason Bercovitch, will specifically focus on WHAT each proposition would accomplish, and WHICH elected officials/organizations are lining up in support or against the measure.

As Jews and American citizens we have an obligation to participate in the elections to ensure that our country’s policies at the local, state and national levels reflect our commitment to social justice.
