Annual 8th Grade Trip to Los Angeles

Get ready for our annual 8th grade trip!
We are excited to announce that this year we are continuing our annual immersive-travel program for our 8th graders! We will take the 8th grade class on a weekend journey to Los Angeles where we will build and deepen our community connection as 8th graders of Beth Israel, experience LA Jewish culture, explore our roots and connections to the greater Jewish Community, and have an all-around great time!
On Friday, January 17th we will depart to the following adventures:
- Friday night services at Beit Teshuva (a spiritual, moving and musical service that is especially appealing to teens)
- Sleep over in an LA synagogue
- Visit the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust
- Experience fun rides and adventure at Universal Studios
- Visit the Hollywood sign at Griffith Observatory
- Get a taste of the authentic Jewish delicatessens of LA
All but $90 of the cost is being paid by Beth Israel! Throughout the weekend we will have our own bus with us for all transportation needs, and meals are included. Bus space will be limited.
We need early registrations to be sure we have enough seats! The registration and payment deadline is Sunday, January 12th.
