YOU WANT TO BE PART OF THIS….

Did you:

  • Miss out on becoming a Bar or Bat mitzvah as a child?
  • Recently convert to Judaism and are looking for your next learning opportunity?
  • Interested in learning Hebrew and learning Judaism’s basic tenets to participate in services?

Strengthen your Jewish identity and enhance your connection to community in new and meaningful ways. Throughout this year-long course, we will study and engage in a wide variety of Jewish topics, from liturgy and history to theology and beyond, in addition to learning to read Hebrew.

Novice, expert, or somewhere in between? Come as you are, and we will all journey together!

This course will culminate in the late spring with a B’nai Mitzvah service experience, where each of you will lead, participate, and inspire our Beth Israel community.

Instructors: Beth Israel Rabbis and Helene Schlafman (Hebrew instructor)

Fee: Beth Israel members $225 per individual, $250 per couple*. The fee includes books and materials. *Couples are two people who register together and share a set of books.
