A Musical Conversation Between Friends

Spend an hour immersed in uplifting music and inspired conversation with these two classmates, study partners, co-workers, and friends.  One of the many things that bonds these two rabbis is a love for music, both Jewish and secular. Tune in to experience a wide variety of music performed by Rabbi Gimbel handpicked for this special event. Enjoy some all-time favorites and others that will be new to your ears.

Rabbi Jeremy Gimbel serves as Assistant Rabbi and Educator at CBI. He grew up immersed in the Reform Jewish world, attending URJ Camp Newman/Swig and URJ Kutz Camp, and served on the North American NFTY Board. He served as  Song Leader at URJ Camp Newman/Swig (’06-08). He has released 3 studio albums of original Jewish music.

Rabbi Michael Shefrin serves as Associate Rabbi at Temple Emanu-El. He was in the midst of an exciting career in the entertainment industry when he experienced a life-changing shift in his goals after volunteering in the Jewish community. Today, he finds fulfillment helping people of all ages and backgrounds connect to their spirituality and elevate their lives and the world around us through Judaism.
