Students will report to their classrooms at 9:00 am.  Parents are invited to grab coffee and a bagel at Cafe Beth Israel.  At 9:15 everyone – family members and students – will join together in the Social Hall for a fun day of hands-on learning and community service.

For their Family Education project the 4th graders take on the responsibility of the school-wide Mitzvah Mall (which takes place on 12/16). The 4th graders and their families learn first-hand from a variety of charitable organizations about what they do and how they use donations for the work of tikun olam (healing the world).

Attendance at Family Education is expected for 4th Graders and a family member; we can’t wait to begin planning Mitzvah Mall with you!
