First United Methodist Church of San Diego and Beth Israel are joyfully coming together for the 45th Annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, November 16, at 4 pm. This year, we’re delighted to gather at First United Methodist Church for an afternoon of gratitude, music, and community.
Senior Rabbi Jason Nevarez will share an inspiring Thanksgiving message and the choirs from both congregations will join together in song.
In the spirit of gratitude and giving, First United Methodist Church and Beth Israel are joining together in support of the San Diego Food Bank. Every $1 donated provides 2 meals for individuals and families facing food insecurity across our community. Together, we hope to raise $1,500, enough to provide 1,000 nourishing meals for our neighbors in need. You can contribute to our virtual food drive here.Â
Our communal worship will be held in the Sanctuary at First United Methodist Church (2111 Camino del Rio S., San Diego, CA 92108), followed by a warm reception and service project in Linder Hall — a wonderful opportunity to connect and give back together.
