Shayna Davis Schreiber

Dr. Shayna Davis-Schreiber earned her Bachelor of Science from Florida State University and her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from Alliant International University, California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) in San Diego. She has extensive experience across diverse clinical settings and currently serves as Secretary on the Executive Committee of the Association of Jewish Psychologists (AJP). In this role, she co-chaired the organization’s inaugural Mission to Israel, convening international mental health professionals to collaborate with leading experts in trauma and resilience. She is also a co-author of the forthcoming Handbook on Jewish Trauma and Resiliency, to be published later this year as a resource for academic and clinical training.

Since relocating to San Diego in 2002 with her husband, Brett Schreiber, Shayna has been an active member of Congregation Beth Israel. She and her family have been deeply engaged in the community; their four children are graduates of the Bill and Sid Ruben Preschool and are actively involved in religious school, choir, youth leadership, and other community programs.

In addition to her professional work, Shayna is actively involved with the San Diego Jewish Federation, supporting rebuilding efforts in Sha’ar Ha Negev. She also serves as co-chair of the Israel Engagement Network at Congregation Beth Israel. She resides in Ocean Beach with her husband, their four children – Ethan, Liora, Zoe, and Avi – and their dog, Roshi. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hot yoga, tennis, and spending time with her family at the beach.
