Peter and his wife, Ellen, joined Beth Israel in 2008 after moving to San Diego. Their two sons are graduates of the Bill & Sid Rubin Preschool and are currently active in the Lee & Frank Goldberg Family Religious School and its Madrichim Program.
Peter is a 2015 graduate of Beth Israel’s Leadership Development Institute. Over the years, he has served in a variety of roles at Beth Israel including a prior stint on the Board of Directors from 2015-2019, Membership Committee Co-Chair, and as a member of the Assistant Rabbinic Search Committee, Development Committee, and Early Childhood Education Task Force.
In 2011, Peter founded and currently serves as Founding Principal and Portfolio Manager of Highlands Wealth Advisors, a Registered Investment Advisor headquartered in San Diego. Originally from Los Angeles, Peter earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Pennsylvania and his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Peter and his family currently reside in Carmel Valley.
