Our Jewish preschool offers the very best in early childhood education in San Diego. We are a play-based preschool that focuses on nurturing, encouraging, and challenging each child according to their unique needs and stage of development. At the Bill & Sid Rubin Preschool we embrace the spirit of community. We have been welcoming families to our school for more than 45 years. Every classroom offers an extraordinary community that inspires a love of learning and a celebration of Jewish identity in every child. Your child will make friends while building the social, emotional, and academic skills needed for success in kindergarten and beyond.

Our Schedule
- We are open from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.
- We offer both part-time and full-time schedules.
- We offer year-round care. We are closed for all major Jewish and secular holidays.
- Daily schedules include a variety of indoor and outdoor activities including music and movement, sensory play, language and literature, science and inquiry-based learning, and fun with friends!
Enrollment Information
- Our Preschool program is for children 2 years through pre-kindergarten (5 years old).
- We maintain a waitlist and future start date list year around. We recommend touring our school early to ensure that space is available when you need care.
- We are open to the San Diego community. Beth Israel membership is not required for enrollment.
