Beth Israel is looking for Holocaust survivors, 2nd generation family members or 3rd generation. We are looking for people that we can include in our Annual Yom HaShoa commemoration which takes place this year on Tuesday, April 21, as well as other possible future opportunities to include your stories, pictures, etc. If you have any original artifacts, such as documents, photographs, films, and oral testimonies, from survivors – who were displaced, persecuted, or discriminated against by the Nazis and their collaborators between 1933 and 1945, that we can use/photocopy, that could be helpful as well. This includes materials relating to the immediate postwar era, life in the displaced persons camps, and emigration from Europe.
