Since relocating from Scottsdale, AZ to San Diego last summer, Ermelinda has been an active member at Beth Israel. She sits on the Outreach Committee, the Communications Committee, the Annual Fundraiser Events Committee, and is co-chair of Shabbat San Diego 2017. She also is a member of the Parent Committee at the Bill & Sid Rubin Preschool and serves as the Parent Representative for the TK Class in the Lee & Frank Goldberg Family Religious School.

Ermelinda currently works as a Marketing Communications Specialist with Hemisphere GNSS, a Scottsdale, AZ-based company that manufactures global positioning products and services. Before “going” corporate, Ermelinda worked over 10 years with national education and youth-based non-profits
based in Washington, DC. Her favorite job was managing a college access program that hosted workshops in the US and Puerto Rico. Ermelinda received an MBA from the Thunderbird School of
Global Management (now part of Arizona State University) and studied at the “Harvard of China,” Peking University in Beijing. Ermelinda is a proud former MUNer, having the unique experience of participating 10+ years in Model UN events as a delegate in high school, conference secretariat in college, and faculty advisor for a high school team. Ermelinda lives in Carmel Valley with her husband, Reynold, and their 4-year old daughter, Eva.
